About Focus Group
Focus Group is a £300m-revenue technology services company backed by Hg Capital, supporting over 30,000 SME customers across the UK with their essential business technology. Following our $1bn valuation in 2024, we're scaling fast — and the people behind our technology are central to everything we do.

The role

We're looking for an experienced IT Technical Support Analyst to join us on a fixed term basis through to the end of March 2027. Based hybrid at our Shoreham office, you'll be joining a strong team of support engineers who are at the heart of delivering technical excellence for our many customers across the UK.

Whether it's a tricky desktop issue or a more complex infrastructure problem, you'll bring sharp troubleshooting instincts and the know-how to see it through to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

What you'll be doing
You'll handle a broad mix of 1st and 2nd line support requests — diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across desktop hardware and software, Microsoft 365 (Microsoft's cloud-based productivity suite), Intune (Microsoft's device management platform), Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and a range of other modern workplace technologies. You'll be methodical, user-focused, and able to communicate clearly with people at all levels of technical confidence.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

You'll need solid, hands-on experience in a similar IT support role, with a strong track record of resolving issues efficiently and professionally. Specifically, we're looking for:

Extensive experience supporting desktop and end-user technologies
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
Excellent troubleshooting skills — you can diagnose root causes, not just apply quick fixes
The ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
A calm, helpful approach and a genuine desire to deliver great service

Why Focus Group?
We're ambitious, growing, and invested in our people. You'll join a team that genuinely collaborates, values doing the right thing, and takes pride in the service it delivers. Even as a fixed term hire, you'll be part of something meaningful — contributing to a business that's redefining managed technology services for thousands of customers across the UK.

Let's connect. Let's grow.
